Syed Asmat Hussain Shah Gilani was born in Forward Kahuta, Kashmir in the month of August, 1961. He studied Islamic theology (dars -e- nizami) in Rawalpindi, Pakistan and took an imam training course at the Islamic university, Islamabad. Has served as imam at various Islamic centers around the world including Denmark (1993-1996) and Canada. (1997-2000) Received his spiritual initiation and authorization (Khilafah) from Zinda Peer of Kohat in four sufi orders and also from Peer Syed Akbar Ali Shah(USA) in the Qadria sufi order.
Syed Asmat Gilani with his eloquent speech and loving attitude is playing an important role in the renaissance of Islamic spiritual values. He is an advocate of inter-faith relations-building and is striving to bring religions together for the sake of human well being. He is also a well known Islamic scholar.
Resides presently in Islamabad and is a frequent lecturer and guest speaker at a range of institutions, including centers of religious and spiritual learning around the world.

I am not that much familiar with Syed Asmat Gilani. However, having come to know that he is a khalifa of a great saint, I would like to know his shijrah of the Orders. Considering his status, I don’t believe that I am worthy enough to comment on his speeches. In the end, I request Syed Saheb to pray for me and my family for all that is good in this world and the hereafter.
I KNOW SYED SHAH SB SINCE I WAS A CHILD. FROM G-7 MOSQUE . HIS KNOWLEDGE IS FULL OF ISLAM.

I know Shah Sahab since 1999. He is the most humble and pious person I have ever met. I used to read about saints but I have seen him my self.
During these 2 years period, I have seen many Sikh people converting Islam. He has changed the life of many youth members who were so isolated from islam and have been involved in dunia.
He is truly a Syed and a Wali Ulluh who taught us the righteous path of ALLAH.
I never used to believe in miracles until I have seen few from his side. May ALLAH give him complete health and provide his sohbat to us. Ameen
Shah sahib as we lovingly refer to him as was at my house a few hours ago. I just had the pleasure of dropping him off. He truely is a magnificant person. As human as the rest of us… But spiritually on a completely different level. You can feel the energy which radiates from him and around him. He emminates spirituality in it’s most purest form. God bless him. MAy Allah make me as pure and as humble as our beloved shah sahib.
